The Blacksmith (Kaveh) - from ERAN: Iran Reclaimed This one actually came together by popular demand. The song had been widely shared online in Persian/Farsi, and a khâreji fan reached out asking to cover it for @SoundMojo. Originally, ERAN: Iran Reclaimed was conceived as a collection of original tracks inspired by Iran—developed alongside ARYA: Songs From Iran. But this felt like a natural addition. We translated the lyrics and released it under Signal & The Noise, the moniker my partner-in-crime and I are using for these projects. And as always, the @WatchMojo crew absolutely delivered on the video. Wow. Orgasmic. Pure energy. Video in the replies, because our overlords @nikitabier & @elonmusk said so.
Bravo to the Mayor of Vancouver for making a public push for MLB expansion. We call on the Mayor of Montreal, @SorayaMartinezF, to make a similar move, and start working with business leaders who are making incredible progress on the Expos’ return. Bringing baseball back to Montreal is a generational, wealth-building project for the city. Of late, no one is working harder on this dossier than @ashkan. With MLB expansion on the horizon, let’s all come together to make it happen.
This @WatchMojo Games is a concept I developed some time ago, and we’re now beginning to pitch it to sponsors. It’s not quite a decathlon—think more along the lines of a multi-sport competition featuring up to five events. The idea is to create a weekend (or potentially midweek) tournament where teams compete across multiple disciplines: eg. floor hockey, volleyball, basketball, futsal, handball. This initiative could also integrate into the broader ecosystem of the 4C Creative, Commercial, Cultural Campus. As part of a larger expansion strategy, the goal is to generate sustained activity and diversified revenue streams—key factors when competing for investor attention against established franchises with ongoing operations. In that context, there’s real value in building derivative business units ahead of a formal proposal to @MLB regarding the return of the @Montreal_Expos. (Our scripted IP projects are another example of this broader approach). We’re currently exploring different formats—this could be a tournament for under-18 or under-21 participants, adults, or potentially both.
