The gift of light comes in big packages and small ones. This Nigerian midwife is receiving an LED headlamp from our solar installer. The headlamp helps with suturing lacerations, administering medications, and moving around the health facility.

In each clinic, midwives receive training on how to use our solar lights, headlamps, fetal doppler and other equipment, ensuring every mother can deliver safely at any time of day or night. #LightEveryBirth #SierraLeone

Our participants are undergoing solar installation training with @wecaresolar, supported by @EDC under the @USAIDSouthSudan Youth Empowerment Activity. This will culminate in a solar installation at Junub Open Space, providing clean energy for young entrepreneurs & innovators.
