Skyformer will be part of the Steam Winter Sale starting tomorrow! I've been working hard on many updates this past month including customizable game modes and new languages (German, French, Brazilian Portuguese).

To top off the year, I decided to go ice skating one night last week as a bit of a break, and had a small fall that somehow split my kneecap in half. I'm in a one month gap of health insurance, so now I have an uninsured ER bill to deal with. Also, I think I've also torn my meniscus because it's been torn before - straightening my leg is required for healing the fracture, but causes agonizing ligament/meniscus pain. And the steam winter sale is on Thursday, which is my last chance at attempting to get some sales for the game. I've made some big updates for it, but I've fallen behind on it because of this. Trying my best to work through the pain until Thursday.

@GDPDuncan In all seriousness though, reported that comment for misinformation and hope it gets taken down, can't believe people just make things up like that out of nowhere.

Issue is related to AMD drivers, rolling back to 25.9.2 seems to be the fix.

And now there was a Windows 11 update yesterday that is causing OpenGL to fail entirely, it seems like for AMD machines only. Minecraft users also reporting issues. Refund rate for my game is probably about to go up. Sad.

I released my game Skyformer this week in early access! It's a new take on automation that combines simple concepts into an exciting challenge. It's designed to be approachable for more casual players and still fun for more hardcore players. Unfortunately, the timing did not work out too well with people occupied with other survival/craft/automation games that have come out. Flying in my automation/terraforming game with my own game engine and art, 2021 vs 2025. Been making Skyformer full time for 4.5 years and I'll be releasing it in early access soon! A couple goals: - An automation game that's not as hardcore as the others / requires less planning and number crunching. In exchange, there is more emphasis on survival and the surrounding environment. Where you build matters and you'll have to strategize to protect your factories from different types of storms. - A game that simulates weather in a dynamic way.
