Crews are carrying out a training exercise starting at 10:00 at Wyndley leisure centre to test our operational procedures. There will be a large fire service presence, please don’t be concerned.

We are undertaking an exercise at the Bert Williams Leisure Centre in Bilston, and will have a significant presence there for the rest of this morning.

We are currently in attendance at the Sandwell Hospital in West Bromwich, where we are carrying out a brigade exercise. Please avoid the area

🚨 We have 4 crews in attendance Mackadown Lane , Birmingham, where they have responded to a vehicle fire. Please avoid the area, where possible.

Fire Crews are currently in the vicinity of King Street/Church Street in Dudley carrying out a Brigade Exercise, this may generate some smoke to issue across the area and roadways - public need not be concerned.

Closing doors is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself if there’s a fire - doing this can slow the spread of fire and smoke If you’re trapped, close the door, block gaps at the bottom with pillows or quilts. Stay low, go to a window if possible and call 999. #WeAreWMFS
