Seeing a lot of South Florida fans frustrated that the program will be on its fifth coach in five years. It’s frustrating, I get that. But USF has tremendous leadership that made some really strong hires in recent years.

After days of rumors, South Florida coach Bryan Hodgson is finalizing a deal to be the next Providence coach. Great hire but a big loss for the Bulls, who he guided to an American title and NCAA Tournament appearance this year.

As a lifelong Syracuse fan, it sucks to see Providence absolutely demolish us for Hodgson.
With that said, hiring whoever Jim Boeheim tells us to is the correct decision for our program.
In a few years, if McNamara doesn’t work out, I trust Boeheim to get it right.
