How many Google reviews do you need to rank better? Research says at least 10 🧐 According to @JoyanneHawkins, there is a boost in local rankings once your Google Business Profile receives 10 reviews (see screenshot). @mblumenthal hypothesizes that the next boost happens at 100 reviews. So, how do you put this information to use? 1️⃣ Get 10 reviews. 2️⃣ Continue getting more reviews regularly and never stop! Review velocity and review recency are also ranking factors. Obviously, if all your competition has 500+ reviews, then just 10 won't cut it, but it's cool/interesting that this 10 reviews boost seems to exist. It's like once you cross 10 then Google is like, "Ok, you're a real business worth putting up in the search results." You need to keep this in mind as well 👇 Local rankings are impacted by many different factors, so having a lot of reviews doesn't necessarily guarantee a high ranking. You need to make sure the other sections of your Google Business Profile are fully optimized as well. BUT even without this ranking boost, aiming to get more reviews is always a good thing. Reviews help build trust and drive more conversions. #localseo #seo
