We recently shared news of an injured male Cheetah identified in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. Encouragingly, his recovery is progressing well. Following treatment, he remains under close monitoring, with ongoing collaboration between Wildlife ACT and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. More soon!

Following a denning period of approximately 3 months, a collared Cheetah female on Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park was confirmed to have one cub by the Wildlife ACT iMfolozi monitoring team. We will continue to track their progress in partnership with Forever Wild Foundation and EKZN.

The Southern Drakensberg Vulture Project is located just outside the small town of Underberg. Underberg has a subtropical highland climate. In the summer, the area often experiences heavy rainfall, intense lightning and electrical storms, and, occasionally, hail.
