Today, the Wilton Manors PD made an arrest in this case. Detectives arrested Katherine Luciano and she was charged with animal cruelty and animal abandonment. The Wilton Manors Police Department wants to continue to educate the public and provide resources for our furry friends.

Last week, we began our annual Citizen’s Police Academy. The CPA is a community policing program that provides a glimpse of how the professionals of the Wilton Manors PD protect and serve our Island City.

This New Year's Eve, while fireworks filled the sky, WMPD's TRACE Unit (Traffic and Criminal Enforcement) were working the streets. A stolen vehicle was tracked, recovered and the subject was arrested. A strong finish to the year and a strong start to the next.
