Few quick ground rules (may keep adding to this list over time) 1) my goal with respect to comms is to be more open and transparent about what we are doing, and why. I’ll be sharing more thoughts about our long term product strategy, why we designed and launched things, and how we came to our decisions. And we’ll also set up more formalized processes to involve community feedback to ensure we stay connected. I can’t promise that we’ll get everything right, but I think transparency and bringing the community into the fold will be key. 2) as you know, I’ve been a Azuki maxi for a while. And ive also degened around the space for a while too. Now that I’m on “the other side”, I don’t want that to ever let me lose touch with what it feels like to be a holder. So within obvious boundaries (respecting trading windows, internal info etc) I wouldn’t mind continuing to collect Azukis and participate in the broader ecosystem. To me, the best way to understand the motivations of a holder is to remain one. It’s important to not only be aware, but to experience as well. 3) I’ll share my love for Azuki and NFTs and web3 culture, but I will also strive to be pragmatic, grounded, and realistic. I’ve always tried to be candid, and I’ll remain so. So i won’t needlessly bullpost or bagpump, and I’ll recognize our mistakes. It’s better to be real. So, taken into account, please don’t expect my tweets to be alpha, always serious, or definitive. Some of my posts will be deeply researched and thoughtful, others will be rapid and off the cuff. 4) I love feedback. About Azuki, this space, and importantly, about myself. Good and bad. 술 한잔 한 김에 쓰는 두서없는 이야기. Part 1. 1. 사회 초년생 때, 월에 50만원씩 저금을 하면서(정확히는 주식을 적립식으로 사면서) 생각을 했다. 그때는 연 20%정도 수익을 낼 때였는데, 10억이 너무 까마득한 거다. 연에 저금을 해봤자 600만원, 수익을 아무리 복리로 20퍼센트 꾸준히 낸다고 해도 답이 없어 보이는 거다. 대충 계산해보니 1억을 만드는 데에도 7-8년정도 걸릴 것이라 예상이 되었다. 2. 그때 당시 회사 선배가 주식을 많이 하셨는데, 수십억정도를 굴리고 계셨다(적어도 십억대 이상). 그 분께 10억을 버는 법을 물어보니, 1억 이상을 모으면 기회들이 많다고 하셨다(지금은 무슨 말인지 너무 잘 안다). 그래서 1억은 어떻게 모아요? 라고 물어봤다. 그러니 이런 대답이 돌아왔다. "튀겨야죠". 3. 아. 그렇다. 아무도 하지 않는 이야기. 모두가 꾸준한 '복리의 마법'만을 이야기 할 때, 나는 이야기하고 싶다. 자산 J커브에서는 적어도 한번 이상의 '튀기기'가 일어난다. 이 부분은 좋게 말하면 결단력, 나쁘게 말하면 도박이다. 4. 이전 어떤 글에서 도박의 중요성을 이야기한 적이 있다. 여기서 도박은 확률이 높은 무언가에 확신에 가까운 신념을 가지고 몰빵은 아니지만 매우 큰 포션을 가지고 투자하는 것에 가깝다. 5. 시골의사 박경철 아찌는 맨날 말한다. W가 무엇인가 고민하고 찾으라고. 그때 나에게 W는 이더리움이었다. 아 이거다! 6. 운이 좋게도 돈을 꽤 벌었고, 나는 이제 꼰대가 되었다. 우리 할아버지 대의 부의 축적 방식이 저축이라 할아버지가 맨날 저축하라고 했듯, 그 후의 부의 축적 방식이 주식이라 주식을 어른들이 찬양했듯, 아버지가 부동산이 짱이라고 노래를 부르셨듯, 나는 이제 아이들에게 코인이 고작 화폐하락을 방어하는 정도의 상승률로 떨어졌을 때에도 이렇게 말하겠지. "얘들아 블록체인이 미래란다". 나는 그 미래가 가장 두렵다. Part 2. 1. 처음에는 비트 이더가 왕이라고 생각했다. 잡코인들은 노답이다. 건드리지 마라. 2. 마진거래에(지금은 선물) 호되게 당한 후에는 이렇게 생각했다. 아 이건 너무 위험하다. 하면 안된다. 3. ico에서 돈을 번 후에는 이렇게 생각했다. 아! 알트의 상승률이 왕이다. '좋은 알트'를 고르면 되는구나. 비트이더 왜 탐? 4. 잡코인들로 하락장에 모든 돈을 잃었을때는 다시 이렇게 생각했다. 역시 안전빵이 짱이다. 5. 결국 복기하면서 이렇게 생각했다. 고점에서 팔 껄~ 6. 모두 사이클이다. 시장은 사이클이다. 좋은 코인이라는 건 존재하지 않는다. 아니다 존재한다. 잘 오르는 코인이 좋은 코인이다. 7. 근데 어차피 비트가 뒤지면 다 꽤꼬닥이다. 그래서 코인 추천은 의미가 없다. 비트->메이저->마이너(세력의 간택을 받는) 순으로 순환하면서 펌핑하며, 모두 결국 꽤액 한다. 이 흐름을 잘 타야 한다. 그래서 코인 추천은 큰 의미가 없다. 언제 팔라고 얘기해주지 않는 이상. 8. 그래서 알아서 잘 해야 한다. 경험이 자산이다.
