Following yesterday’s report from The Minnesota Star Tribune that a large portion of the roof at U.S. Bank Stadium requires replacement due to hail damage sustained in 2023, a WWE source tells us the issue is not expected to impact SummerSlam in any way. We’re told WWE has been informed by city officials that the roof remains structurally safe. A statement from the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority included in the report reads: “All Minnesotans can be confident that the roof at U.S. Bank Stadium is safe, that proactive steps are in place to preserve its unique environment, and the MSFA’s financial safeguards have protected this public investment.”

It’ll be extremely difficult for anything on today’s Clash in Italy card to top last night’s Mask vs. Mask match. That bar has been set exceptionally high heading into today. If anything manages to come close, it’ll go down as one hell of an in-ring weekend for WWE.

In speaking with a source in town for tonight’s Noche de Los Grandes event, it’s evident how much Ludvig Kaiser is relishing this moment. Credit to him, as this character was never originally designed with him in mind. He’s seized the opportunity and made it his own, earning the appreciation of the loyal crowd in Mexico along the way. We’re told there’s significant excitement within the company surrounding tonight’s event.

On the day of the biggest WWE match of his career to date, it’s worth noting how well received Ethan Page has been internally since arriving in WWE back in 2024. A source once described Page as extremely respectful and detail-oriented behind the scenes, something that many feel has translated onto television throughout his time in NXT, AAA, and now Monday Night Raw. Regardless of tonight’s outcome, those spoken to believe Page has positioned himself very well moving forward, especially considering how quickly he’s risen in a relatively short amount of time.
