All the dead bodies lying around the village had the choice to abandon their homes the very moment the demons broke in to slaughter them. Instead, they fought back with whatever weapons or tools they had, knowing full well that their death was almost certain. The fact that dying in their homeland meant more to them than fleeing for their lives says everything about what Frieren was trying to express in this arc. It’s plain and simple... Home is not a place you run away from, it’s a place you return to. It’s where you lay down your life beside the people you love, defending what matters most against those who have no right to be there. Those villagers chose to protect their homes, their memories, and their way of life rather than become refugees in a world that had already taken so much from them. This part of the story hit me so hard and made me cry for so many reasons. It carries an incredible weight, the quiet, stubborn humanity of people who would rather die free on their own soil than survive by abandoning everything that made their lives meaningful.

um, okay? thanks sir

When a father abandoned his 6 year old son in the middle of the river and a kayaker passing by rescued him.

"Suits" alum Patrick J. Adams claimed that “eye rolls were a constant” with Meghan Markle 👀

This is Daisy. She helped her human make the bed today. Through moral support. 13/10

honestly i think krypto being the sole reason for the whole journey is so bad compared to the comic in which kara actually wants to help ruthye because she sees herself in her and doesn’t want the poor girl to lose herself in grief and anger

because people would rather self-insert than ever think about what another person would think or do

sigh

Geniuenly why would you post something like this?
