Sometimes when I see the things some people do, the lies, the betrayal, the way they deliberately try to hurt others, I begin to wonder why Jesus would lay down His life for people like this. Because the level of wickedness you see in some human beings even the devil will struggle to compete. People go out of their way to destroy someone’s name, block opportunities, spread lies, and create problems where there was peace. And many times, these same people will still smile with you, greet you warmly, and pretend everything is fine. But behind your back, they are doing everything possible to bring you down. This is why Good Friday is deep, if you really think about it. Jesus knew the kind of people the world was full of. He knew people would lie, betray, deny, and still act innocent. Yet, He still chose to lay down His life. Good Friday is a reminder that even in a world full of hate, betrayal, and wickedness, good still chose to die for bad, and mercy still chose to speak over judgment. So sometimes, instead of asking why people are wicked, just remember that grace exists not because people are good, but because God is merciful. Happy Good Friday.

Now that I am a former SSA, will the endless billing and entitled requests finally stop… or is this a lifetime subscription? Because the truth is, the moment you hold public office, you stop being a person and become a solution center. Every call is urgent. Every message is important. Everyone has a “small request” that is somehow never small. And the day you can’t meet those expectations, you suddenly become the problem. It gets exhausting. Not because you don’t want to help, but because people forget you are human too. You have limits, responsibilities, and your own life to manage. You cannot carry everyone. Now I am out of office, and I am honestly wondering… will it slow down? Or will the expectations continue like nothing changed?

I thank God for the gift of good people around me. As you get older, you start to realize that life is not really about what you have, but about the people who stand with you. I am very grateful for my friends who support me and show up when it matters. I am also grateful for those who see me as a role model and stand by me and are always there when I call. That kind of love and support means a lot to me, and I don’t take it for granted. And for those who don’t like me or who hope to see me fail, I also appreciate you in your own way. You remind me that not everyone will like you, and that’s fine. Life goes on, and we keep moving. To the people who stand with me, support me, and believe in me, thank you. I appreciate you more than I can explain, and I thank God for every one of you.

I was stopped at a police checkpoint earlier while heading to the gym. I wound down my window, and a few of the officers recognized me and told me I could go. They were very friendly, so I thought it would be a nice gesture to give them some money for water or something. But one of them quickly said no, that they couldn’t take money from me. I kept insisting it was just a kind gesture, nothing more, but they still refused. It was only after I spoke with someone at their office that they finally felt comfortable accepting it. lol.

Desperation can make people act without thinking, speak without wisdom, and fight battles they are not prepared for. Don’t live in a glass house and start throwing stones. It is not just foolish; it shows a serious lack of self-awareness. If you know your own life is not perfect, you should be careful about how you judge or attack other people.

I extend warm congratulations to our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), on the peaceful and successful conclusion of the National Convention in Abuja. I had the honour of leading the Ondo State delegates to this historic gathering, where the seamless and orderly election of national officers reflected the unity, discipline and democratic strength of our party. This is indeed a good omen for the continued success of President Tinubu’s administration. I also congratulate the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) on their emergence. Their leadership comes at a crucial time as we consolidate on the gains of our party and government. I commend the NWC, the Convention Planning Committee, delegates and all stakeholders for their commitment and maturity throughout the process. As a governing party, moments like this renew our collective resolve to deliver on the Renewed Hope agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians. In Ondo State, we remain focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, accelerating development, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt across all our communities. I also appreciate the exemplary conduct of Ondo State delegates who made us proud at the Convention.

It is better to focus on building your own life than constantly questioning how others built theirs. your life will not move forward because you understood someone else’s success. It will move forward because you decided to take responsibility for your own. ✌️

There are many selfish people in the world, so you cannot afford to be foolishly nice. Be kind, but be wise.
