@zhamusic I see it both sides though, I always say everyone should self release as u learn a lot about the artistic process of completing a project - most small labels sadly end up longing out due to being 1/2 person teams. But the +side is introducing your tunes to a potential new market

@sempra95 I get that if a label is already established because they started a few years ago, but today, why would someone want to start a label (with no following) and what could they offer that the artist couldn't do independentlym

@zhamusic This is a hard one, but I don’t think the era is over. Hardest thing as a small artist is to get your music seen on people timelines / and having a label that can shout about you and assist you is always a great thing, also helping front the cost of art and mastering to.
