James recently got involved in Violence Anonymous. He worked with the founder for a year with a view to setting up a VA org in Scotland. It was difficult to work through VA's peer-led 12-step programme, to process the trauma from youth.

MH needs to be seen in same light as child protection, given suicide the leading cause of death for YP. Protecting MH should be key driver.
