82. An Emerging Liquid-Crystalline Conducting Polymer Thermoelectrics: Opportunities and Challenges Zhenqiang Ye, Mingdong Zhang, Junyang Deng, Lirong Liang, Chunyu Du & Guangming Chen* Nano-Micro Lett. 18, 82 (2026). doi.org/10.1007/s40820… This work is led by Prof. Dr. Guangming Chen (Shenzhen University) and co-workers. Prof. Chen's research centers on organic/inorganic composite thermoelectric materials, flexible device design, and their applications in wearable technology, artificial intelligence, and safety warning systems. This review systematically examines strategies—including advanced doping, composite engineering, and aggregation control—that have propelled the thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) of the liquid-crystalline conjugated polymer PBTTT from below 0.1 to a remarkable 1.28 at 368 K, and outlines the remaining challenges for its application in energy harvesting and wearable electronics.
