Good morning homies... "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”  — Lao Tzu EVERYTHING starts in your mind. What you CHOOSE to allow your mind to focus on will predicate what actions you will take and thus what direction your life will go. The key, however, isn't in focus alone. It is in the follow through. It is in action. You can pray fervently, for example, for this or that, and then turn on the television or scroll through your phone. Do you think anything will change? You MUST take action. Because God honors those who take action. Action is the spark that ignites the fuel that is focus. It creates momentum. It accelerates growth. It makes the ordinary extraordinary. When you resolve in your mind to take action the world responds. It has no choice. I once asked a teammate what it felt like to be faster than rveryone else on the field. Without hesitation he said, "everyone else is just moving slower." That is the affect of focus and action. You will move faster. You will separate yourself from those around you. Does moss grow in river or a stagnant pond? Will you achieve your goals by focusing and taking action? Or by allowing your thoughts to control you and stay paralyzed by fear and uncertainty? My teammate didn't become blazing fast because he sat on the couch. No. He resolved in his mind he would be the fastest on the field. He worked for it. He took action. And because he took action with extreme focus he reached his potential. In like manner you too can and will reach your potential if you but choose to resolve yourself to focus on that which will propel you forward and take action. You are not meant to survive. You are meant to thrive. There is no greater achievement in life than to find purpose in that which you do. Unfortunately, most will never find it. But that is not you. You were not created simply to exist. You were created to experience a life of joy and abundance. A life of fulfillment and peace. Where your focus goes your life will flow. Focus on the true source of power. Set your mind on things above. Think about all that is lovely and pure and righteous. Set your mind on Jesus. He is the source of wisdom. He is the source of power. He is the source of abundance. He is the way, the truth and the life. All things are possible with God. Not some. Not a few. Not even most. ALL things are possible. That includes your goals and dreams. That includes your life. Focus your attention on the true source of power and wisdom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will raise you up. Give Him the glory. Draw your strength from Him and take action this day. You only need to be 1% better than you were yesterday. That progress, compounded over a single year will make you unstoppable. Today is the day the Lord has made. And we will rejoice in it! Live well my friends. 👊🦏
