3/4 Pregnant women are encouraged to attend antenatal care early and regularly, deliver in accredited health facilities, and seek immediate care from a skilled health worker at the first sign of labor.

1/4 As Ghana continues to scale up interventions through the Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) strategy, Free Maternal Health services under the NHIS aim to remove financial barriers to facility-based skilled delivery.
