Rules for earning $5k-$10k/mo as a video editor:
Stop saying yes to everything the client says.
Start charging extra for your time.
Stop overloading with random projects.
Start picking a profitable niche.
Stop charging $10/video and editing 100 of them.
Start asking for $1000+ and editing 10.
Play the game with the right strategy and win.
Use the wrong one and it's gg.

Before charging $1,500/video, I was hiding in a bathroom eating sandwiches.
I made $400 in a year and lied to my parents about still being in university.
I thought if I just “got better” at editing, I’d finally make money.
Since I couldn’t afford food at the restaurant I worked in, I’d buy a $1 coffee just to sit there and use the Wi-Fi.
Then I’d sneak into the bathroom to eat my sandwich.
But one day I saw a guy making $10K/month with worse edits than mine.
Basic cuts, simple animations and average sound design.
It pissed me off but I’m grateful for it now.
Because when I analyzed his portfolio, I realized we weren’t playing the same game.
I was selling edits.
He was selling revenue.
And the truth is: there are many ways to the top of the mountain.
You can make $10K/month editing 40 videos…
or $10K/month editing 5–10 like my students.
It all depends on how well you understand and help your clients.
Clients don’t buy videos because they like effects.
They buy them because they want results.
Your job is to connect the video with the results they get.
That's when you can charge higher rates.
Realizing that changed everything for me and for my students.

Month 1:
Pick a high-paying niche.
Month 2-3:
Deliver results for your first clients.
Document everything you learn.
Build proof no one can ignore.
Month 6:
Charge $1000+ per video without guilt.
Turn down low-paying projects.
Year 1:
$5k-$10k months become normal.
Most editors never get here because they stop at month 2.
The ones who push through?
They're not worried about money anymore.
