Turning mostly dry tonight with clear skies🧑‍🚀 and a chilly feel🥶. Road Surface Temps🌡️dipping to around or below 0°C, bringing a risk of hoar frost and isolated icy patches. Tomorrow morning, some primary routes will receive winter treatment, with all others on standby.

🌨️Snow showers and falling road temperatures🌡️ are expected overnight on routes towards Glenshee and The Lecht. 🚛Gritters will be out this afternoon to pre‑treat these roads, with all other primary routes on standby should conditions change.

Following overnight 🌨️sleet and light snowfall, "Vincent Van Grit" and "Grit-Zilla" will be treating our primary routes this morning to Glenshee and The Lecht⬇️. All other routes will be subject to surface water☔️and high winds. #Slowdown and drive to road conditions.

Following the milder conditions😎experienced this week, a significant drop in temperature 🌡️is forecast for tomorrow morning with the risk of icy patches🥶to the network. Winter treatment operations to some primary routes are scheduled for this evening and tomorrow morning⬇️.

Road Surface Temperatures are due to fall close to zero tomorrow morning with the risk of hoar frost. Currently one route will be treated this evening with all other 31 primary routes being on standby and monitored this evening and tomorrow morning for potential treatment.

A cold evening in store, however with wind still forecast the risk of ice or frost is low and therefore only one route will receive treatment this evening. All other gritters are on standby to react to any changes to the forecast. @aberdeenshire

Snow is forecast over our higher routes to the west of the Shire, so we'll be carrying out winter treatment there tonight. A reminder too, of the yellow warning for wind that is in place, from 6pm tonight until lunchtime tomorrow. @aberdeenshire
