Alabama's rural water systems provide an essential service to so many people and businesses across our state. Director Boswell spoke at @alruralwater's training conference yesterday about our grant programs that can assist rural water utilities with projects in their communities.

Partnerships are key to progress. On Friday, Director Boswell joined other leaders to announce a new building at The Foundry in Cullman, which will include job training, classrooms & other features. A $1 million grant from our partners at @ARCgov is helping to make it possible.

Today, Director Boswell visited Hope Horses, Inc. in Cullman to learn more about the organization's therapeutic horsemanship programs and to discuss ADECA funding opportunities.

It was a pleasure to visit Garden City on Thursday. Director Kenneth Boswell and Deputy Director Ashley Toole met with Mayor Eskew to talk about existing projects and possible future projects as well as potential funding opportunities through ADECA.

On Tuesday, Director Kenneth Boswell joined other leaders to help the town of New Site in Tallapoosa County cut the ribbon on a paved walking trail and other improvements at Town Hall Park. A Recreational Trails Program Grant of $129,731 helped fund the improvements.
