“Do not choose your health [and] prescription drug coverage based on an advertisement.” Why? Because the private insurers running ads for Medicare (Dis)Advantage have been known to deploy misleading marketing to get folks to sign up. Shame.

More and more elected officials are waking up to the fact that #MedicareDisadvantage has been a complete failure for the American people. Private insurance companies have used it to suck massive profits through denial of critical care. We need to #ReclaimMedicare.

Senators @SenCortezMasto and @SenStabenow started the @SenateFinance hearing with some GREAT questions. Why are #MedicareDisAdvantage plans lying about coverage and denial rates? 🤔

The private insurers that run Medicare (Dis)advantage plans spend MILLIONS on misleading advertisements. Their goal? Convince older adults and people with disabilities to sign up for plans that could let them down when they need it most.
