Flying early? So is everyone else. Early mornings are peak hours at most airports, which means longer lines and bigger crowds. That 5–8 AM window is typically busiest. Especially with the TSA staffing shortage due to the partial government shutdown. Congestion *usually* dies down around 10-11 AM (ish), then can sometimes pick back up for the late afternoon flights. EARLY this morning = madhouse Late morning = not so bad Lunchtime = slow, short wait
