Marketing Uganda’s Tourism in Tanzania🇺🇬 🇹🇿 This evening, The Travel Specialists team was warmly welcomed by the Uganda Consul General in Arusha @KatusiimeAnne ahead of the Rwenzori Marathon exhibition in Kilimanjaro, as we continue to market Uganda’s tourism. Tomorrow, we shall kick off with a Rwenzori shake-up run, followed by a Ugandan breakfast shared with runners from Kenya, Tanzania, and across the globe. Thereafter, we will engage in intensive marketing at our beautiful Uganda tent, where the beauty of the Pearl of Africa will be proudly showcased. Special thanks to @UGHighCommDAR and @ArushaUganda for hosting us. Big appreciation to @UgandaMFA for powering this initiative.

Over 3 days at the Travel and Adventure Show in Los Angeles, we joined the Uganda Embassy in Washington DC and several Ugandan tour operators to showcase the beauty and diversity of Destination Uganda. The Uganda stand attracted strong interest from travel advisors, media, influencers and travellers keen to learn more about gorilla trekking, wildlife safaris and Uganda’s rich cultural experiences. We also had the opportunity to meet Phil Rosenthal (Netflix’s Somebody Feed Phil) to pitch Uganda as a potential filming destination, and Peter Greenberg, producer of the Hidden Uganda documentary, where we discussed the possibility of a screening in Washington DC to further spotlight destination Uganda. #ExploreUganda
