@alienafra I’m not reversing accountability or defending toxicity. I’m describing how this platform function usually, its low moderation and anonymity naturally lead to harsher interactions. That doesn’t make it ethical, it just means individuals have to manage their exposure

If you’re on twitter and cant take light insults and jokes you should just get off social media in general

@Bucky_011 But to state such is deflecting the greater matter at hand, and reverses accountability. one must refrain from said apps due to dignity? in a sense this allows toxic people in and normal people out. Its like setting a stiff immobile standard which is built on an unethical base

@alienafra I’m not normalising, I’m saying social media specially twitter is harsh. And if someone cant handle the environment, Its not the right platform for them. You cant just blame people for being themselves. Ofc insulting isn’t okay but expecting internet to be polite is unrealistic.

i was once told by a patient to “toughen up and be strong” when all i did was nicely ask if i can observe his procedure, he was my dads age and was advising me to not “be afraid” which caught me so off guard because i asked confidently but my tone is a bit subtle regardless-

It makes me question if my voice makes me get perceived as one who is shy and afraid which is quite contrary to who i am. Anyways, his wife was there and she was so cute, she kept on yelling at him because he was ranting to my friend and I throughout the procedure
