Michel Ndenzako today received a delegation from the Hirshabelle administration led by Jowhar Mayor and District Commissioner Osman Mohamed Mukhtar, at the Sector HQ in Jowhar. The delegation included Hirshabelle State Deputy Minister of Finance Omar Mohamed Soomane, and Deputy Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Omar Mohamed Omar. Discussions focused on the security situation and ongoing joint efforts by AUSSOM troops and Somali Security Forces to counter Al-Shabaab threats. Both sides also discussed the humanitarian situation in Middle Shabelle and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation to support security operations, improve coordination, and assist vulnerable communities affected by recurring crises and climate change. #AUSSOMInTheSectors
