Hey @mehdirhasan, This is the original video, sent by defenseless people from inside Iran begging President @realDonaldTrump for help because they’ve seen 30,000+ unarmed civilians killed by the regime’s military. So make up your mind. Are you still going to laugh at us while a massacre is unfolding in our country #Iran? Because mocking victims while they’re being buried is not journalism, it’s cruelty.

When a so-called “professional and independent” journalist drops all pretense, openly rushes to defend the terrorist leader of the Islamic Republic, and then disables comments, the mask is off.
Mehdi Hasan@mehdirhasan

Assassinating Khamenei wouldn’t just be illegal under international law, wouldn’t just be a betrayal of antiwar, anti-regime change MAGA voters, but, with Khamenei also being a religious leader, it could lead to all sorts of terrorist blowback against US interests and civilians.

It is deeply disturbing to watch non Iranians position themselves as moral authorities, confidently declaring what Iranians want or don’t want. Even Iranians themselves do not speak with one voice, let alone outsiders. #DigitalBlackoutIran #IranRevolution2026

If the kiIIings in Iran have stopped, why do you think the regime still has the internet shut down?

The massacre is still ongoing. Tens of thousands have been injured, many with severe wounds to the head, face, and eyes. Thousands have been arrested, placing them at serious risk of brutal and inhumane treatment. The internet is completely shut down, and once communication is restored, the true scale of these crimes will be revealed. Silence and delay only increase the death toll. We urge the international community to take immediate and serious action to stop this atrocity. Iran urgently needs global help. Please act now. #IranMassacre #InternetBlackoutIran #IranRevolution2026

The Iranian regime is once again slaughtering its people in huge numbers, and blocking the internet to stop us knowing what they’re doing. Shameful and disgusting but no surprise.

Killing more than 12,000 people in just a few days of protests, after cutting off the internet to hide the crime is a war crime. terrorists ruling Iran are waging war against unarmed civilians. We Iranians are heartbroken and outraged, not because we are weak, but because we are desperate to move the free world to act. The Islamic Republic is ISIS in power.. The same ISIS that used chemical attacks against schoolgirls. The same ISIS now slaughtering women, men, children, the elderly, entire families in the streets of Iran. Destroy ISIS because if you don’t, they will continue butchering people and mass arrests will turn into mass executions.

There is absolutely no evidence that Iranian protesters are armed. There are zero credible reports of any members of the regime’s repression forces being killed. Yet you knowingly and deliberately pushed fabricated narratives at the exact moment the news of 12,000 people being killed went viral، a clear attempt to deflect, deceive, and cover up mass murder.
