The family said in a statement sent to ABC13: ‘Our family is devastated by what occurred yesterday involving law enforcement. What should have been a routine interaction escalated into a traumatic and violent situation that we believe involved racially motivated excessive force against my husband and our child. Before the incident occurred, we informed the officer several times that our 15-year-old daughter is bipolar, repeatedly asked for the situation to be de-escalated, and requested to speak with his superior. Instead of calming the situation or responding appropriately to our concerns, tensions continued to rise, ultimately resulting in our daughter being punched in the face and my husband being physically assaulted. As a Black family, this experience has raised painful and serious concerns about racial bias and the treatment of people of color during encounters with law enforcement. We cannot ignore the fear, trauma, and emotional impact that many families of color experience when dealing with police. What happened to our family reflects a larger issue that communities across the country have been speaking out about for years. No child should ever experience violence at the hands of someone sworn to protect and serve the community. As citizens of the United States, we are hurt, traumatized, and deeply concerned not only for our family, but for our community as a whole. We believe our family’s civil rights and constitutional protections under the 14th Amendment were violated. The level of racially excessive force used in this situation was completely unwarranted and unacceptable. No family should have to fear abuse, intimidation, racism, or violence during interactions with law enforcement. This incident has left emotional and physical scars on our family, and we are seeking accountability, transparency, and justice. We hope this situation sparks a larger conversation about policing, racially excessive force, racial bias, mental health awareness, and the treatment of people of color in our communities. We are asking for a full and transparent investigation into this matter and for those responsible to be held accountable. Our family deserves justice, and our community deserves to feel safe.’ Retarded ass family.

gm to the best people of 𝕏! Today is payday! 🤑 As most of you know, 𝕏 has massively reduced payouts for a lot of us. This pay period, I worked extra hard on original content, which is supposedly what gets rewarded now, and I believe I was one of the most trending original creators on the platform, if not the biggest one. My videos were literally everywhere. So the big question is: Will original content pay more than aggregation? Because last payout, that was not the case. This might be the best test possible to see if 𝕏 is actually rewarding original creators or not. Later today, once payouts drop, I’ll share whether original content actually performed better this time or if the system still rewards aggregation more (or if it just doesn’t give a fvck at all, which honestly is what I think it is) I’ll also compare notes with other creators so we can get a clearer picture of what’s really happening with 𝕏 monetization. Appreciate you guys 🫶
