עם צאת השבת התבשרנו בכאב רב על נפילתו של מעוז ישראל רקנטי הי״ד, מפקד מחלקה בגדוד 12 של חטיבת גולני, בקרב בדרום לבנון. מעוז עמד בחזית האש, בגבורה ובראש מורם, כדי להבטיח את ביטחונם של תושבי הצפון ועם ישראל כולו - אך לצער כולנו הוא לא שב. בשם הכנסת אני שולח את תנחומיי הכנים למשפחתו, לחבריו ולכל אוהביו בשעה קשה וכואבת זו. יהי זכרו של מעוז ברוך ונצור בליבנו לעד.

Today I instructed my legal advisers to consider the harshest legal action against The New York Times and Nicholas Kristof. They defamed the soldiers of Israel and perpetuated a blood libel about rape, trying to create a false symmetry between the genocidal terrorists of Hamas and Israel’s valiant soldiers.
