"It's quite extraordinary that China has been allowed to get away with revealing almost nothing about what went on in that laboratory." "And instead of saying that's a disgrace, we can't cooperate with you scientifically until you clear this up, the world has said, 'Oh fine, let's go on having scientific collaborations with you as much as you want,'" says Matt Ridley, co-author of "Viral." So why is that? Ridley reveals that Western scientific publishing relies heavily on collaboration with China and Chinese funding. And on a deeper level, "there is a China worship problem here," he argues. @mattwridley

A sobering reality check from Timothy Goeglein: “But what is the chasm? The chasm is they’re looking for marriageable men.” Women — across political lines — want marriage and children, but are seeking reliable economic partners and excellent fathers. Yet: • 15% of American men say they have no friends • Men account for 3 out of 4 suicides and drug overdoses Goeglein feels honor-bound to restore the American male — because strong men are essential to restoring strong families.

🚨 SHOCKING DISCOVERY Breastfed babies born to vaccinated mothers are presenting with ZERO bifidobacteria in their gut. Bifidobacteria is one of the most critical bacteria for an infant’s immune system, digestion, and long-term health. Even breastfeeding — nature’s perfect food — isn’t delivering it. Watch this, what do you think?

A tiny island the size of Maryland is now America’s 4th largest trading partner. Because it’s freer than almost any country on Earth. (Ranked 5th freest economy globally by Heritage). So the CCP can’t allow that success story to exist. It's proof that Chinese people can thrive and prosper in a free democracy. The CCP has already destroyed Hong Kong, and it's coming for Taiwan next. This is the same regime that blood-tests and tissue-types its own citizens to maintain a living database of prisoners—who are killed to order for their organs. My new book "Killed to Order" reveals how this darkness has spread beyond China's borders, making doctors and institutions complicit from Taiwan to America. A top Taiwanese surgeon just had his license revoked for brokering transplants in China. I'll be speaking at FreedomFest in Las Vegas on July 10th at 10AM to break all this down. I'd love to see you there. Use code EPOCH100 for $100 off.

What happens in the case of a Chinese invasion? That’s the question I just asked Taiwan’s VP Hsiao Bi-khim when we sat down for an interview. And she did not hold back with her answer: “Taiwan is embedded in every layer of the AI and technology supply chain.” “Not only in the United States, but around the world.” “We also share the belief that peace has to be sustained through strength.” Hear her full answer to this critical question in our full interview below:🧵 @bikhim

Matt Ridley says a senior scientist in the UK told him we should never find out whether COVID came from a lab because it would hurt relations with China. “I spoke to a very senior scientist in the UK.” “He said, ‘It’s very important we never find out.’” “I said, ‘Why?’” “He said, ‘Because it would disrupt relations with China. You’re probably right, it probably did come out of a lab, but it’s better we don’t find out.’” “I said, ‘Would you say that about a plane crash… Every plane crash, the lessons from it are shared with everybody… Why don’t we have that in this case?’” @mattwridley

🚨 As a few pointed out, I mistakenly said "Taiwan 101" instead of "Taipei 101" in the clip. Sometimes our minds play tricks on us. Consider this correcting the record! And if you're ever there on a clear(ish) day, visit the 101st floor. It costs extra, but is wholly worth it!👇

“The Chinese playbook is total warfare.” “It… is being waged inside China and in Taiwan.” “But also in the [US].” “The former mayor of Arcadia just pleaded guilty to being an illegal agent of the Chinese Communist Party.” Enoch Wu just sat down with me to break down how the CCP is subverting US and Taiwanese sovereignty to advance their own interests: “Chinese state-sponsored cyber groups have infiltrated and compromised US critical infrastructure.” “And they are also in your communities.” “The FBI, among others, have pointed out this network of secret police service stations being run in… US cities to monitor and to intimidate Chinese dissidents.” “These tactics are happening in Taiwan, and they’re happening in the US.” @NongEnochWu

In her final days as Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard released documents that revealed a concerted cover-up of the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. U.S. intelligence agencies had strong evidence pointing to a Wuhan lab leak yet they kept it under wraps after being briefed by Anthony Fauci, and the CIA abruptly changed its assessment of the origins of the virus. “Most of the world wants to say, ‘It probably was a lab leak, but move on.’ We can’t move on. 20 million people are dead,” says Matt Ridley, the co-author of “Viral.” “It's a gigantic scandal.” @mattwridley

By 2010, Laura Delano had spent more than a decade as a psychiatric patient. Diagnosed bipolar as a teenager, she'd handed her life over to doctors and done everything she was told. Then, at age 27, one afternoon flipped how she saw all of it. She was in a day program, at the hospital nine to five. A psychiatrist sensed she was becoming suicidal, and suggested she check herself into the short-term unit. "So I said, yeah, that's a great idea. I'm just going to go home and get my belongings. I'll come back later this afternoon. And he wouldn't let me leave to do that." "Things escalated. I began raising my voice. He called security." That was the moment reality inverted for her. "And that was the moment that I realized that this system I had been turning to for help through all of these years, through the most formative years of my life, that I had been assuming existed to take care of me, to help me feel okay in my skin was actually a system of control, and I just hadn't seen it for what it was because I had never said no to it before." "In an instant, it all just kind of blew up. And I suddenly was like, what have I been participating in? How did I not see this?"
Epoch Health@epochhealth

Laura Delano was 13 when she first walked into a therapist's office. By 14 she had a psychiatrist, and a diagnosis that would define the next decade of her life. "I was an angry, intense, despairing, self-injuring teenage girl, and my terrified parents didn't know what else to do," she says. "So they did what so many loving American parents are taught to do. If your kid is struggling, you need to seek professional help." What she got back wasn't a conversation. It was a verdict. "A year later, I was sent to my first psychiatrist. I received a diagnosis within my first appointment with that psychiatrist. My whole life was basically reduced to an incurable mental illness called bipolar disorder, and I was put right on meds." And even as a teenager, something in her knew the label was aimed at the wrong thing. "Something in me knew that the struggles that I was experiencing were actually healthy responses to the environment that I was in, to the pressures I felt on my shoulders at school, with sports. I was this very driven, perfectionistic kid. I knew that was the problem, not anything inside of my brain. "But when you're a kid, you don't have power, you don't yet have a solid sense of self. And so I eventually kind of lost touch with that knowing and then spent the final 10 years in the mental health industry as a very compliant, obedient, deferential psychiatric patient."

Medicaid fraud is not what you think it is. Most people think the fraud perpetrated by poor people who scam the system out of free healthcare. Sure, that happens. Misreporting income to gain coverage is not unheard of. Small change. But the really big dollars are being sucked up by organized crime. And a lot of them are actually healthcare professionals. Here’s how it works. Find a vulnerable population—people with addictions, homeless folk, elderly immigrants—and bribe them in exchange for their healthcare number. Et voila! Now you bill Medicaid or Medicare for millions of services never rendered. Enroll them in a phony hospice. Set them up in a non-existent drug treatment program. Bill for adult daycare services in their name. The taxpayer dollars roll in. Sadly, some doctors and other professionals are in on this. Skin grafts—never provided, over-provided, or insanely priced—have emerged as one of the most lucrative healthcare scams. It’s not the little guy getting a free doctor appointment that should worry you. It’s the criminal gangs and corrupt providers who are taking your tax dollars by the billion. theepochtimes.com/article/fake-t…

In Kentucky, patients sued their own doctors for refusing to prescribe the pain medication they wanted. For Laura Delano, who spent 14 years as a psychiatric patient, that shows how the patient isn't really a patient. The patient is a customer. "These are consumer products that are being marketed and sold to people. They come in to their doctor's office knowing what they want." And that demand is manufactured. As host Jan Jekielek notes, "It's only the US and New Zealand that actually allow for advertising of drugs on television." Delano says those ads are engineered to slip past their own warnings. "I think we've been so desensitized to that soporific voice listing the side effects at the end that people don't even hear it. They just glaze over and what they absorb is the image of the depressed, gloomy woman who's now suddenly running on a beach smiling." The ads work because the want is already there. And the people most susceptible are the ones already in pain. "I think people are so desperate for relief. I think we live in a time where there's so much struggle. People are overwhelmed by anxiety, by despair, by a sense of meaninglessness, futility to change circumstances that people want this quick fix promise that is provided to them in these advertisements." She isn't describing other people. She's describing herself. "I was once so desperate for relief from this intense suffering that I'd spent so many years in that I was ready to believe anything I was told, especially by a doctor."

Hey there! Jan was referring to the Chinese Communist Party’s forced organ harvesting system, which kills religious prisoners and others for their organs. Taiwan has started cracking down on transplant tourism and organ brokering to China for this reason and just suspended the medical license of a prominent doctor for brokering such transplants in China. Taiwan has been leading the fight against these atrocities, and Jan just spoke at a multi-party hearing on this subject.

I'm from Taiwan. What "totalitarian giant" are you referring to? NTU?? And the building behind you is called Taipei 101, not Taiwan 101. Yes, the problem needs to be addressed but not by a sensationalist who can't get simple facts straight and ALSO looking to profit off this topic. 🙄

A top Taiwanese transplant surgeon just had his medical license revoked for funneling patients into China’s killed-to-order transplant system. Dr. Chen Yao-li brokered liver & kidney transplants to Chinese hospitals—and pocketed huge profits doing it. Convicted on nine counts of illegal organ brokering. But this isn’t one rogue doctor. It’s the tip of the iceberg of a Chinese state-run forced organ harvesting industry that’s made doctors and major institutions complicit in both Taiwan and the US. I’m dropping major new revelations at @TheFreedomFest in Las Vegas — July 10th, 10AM. I'd love to see you there.
