@AndGoodbye1 To me its something about the texture that you can connect to the person and it gets character, which can range from a funny joke about a resemblance to something or something super unique about the design

What makes a texture memorable and stand out from the rest? What would make you go "Wow!" Im curious to hear what y'all come up with 👀

@AndGoodbye1 A texture that is not fluffy. Like a scaly, aquatic, robotic (metal, plastic) I feel there aren't many like that.

@AndGoodbye1 I think there is a big gap between a texture that makes you go wow, and a texture the is memorable. And that is a balance between complexity and simplicity. A complex texture will impress people yes, but I feel on the long term simplicity is key.

@AndGoodbye1 Yeee, which is why I am so fond of my current design Its aesthetically pleasing to look at, striking, and you know who it is at a glance rather than having to stare and wonder

@CryptidKion Yee exactly! When I first started making avis I thought complexity is cool and neat, but in the end it just makes the avi very tiring to look at. There is perfection in simplicity 😌

@AndGoodbye1 I originally come from a place of 2d artistry, so my philosophy with coming up with designs is to get my designs to able to be drawn without the artist wanting to blow themselves up but still recognizable as that character and visually pleasing to look at

@AndGoodbye1 Honestly for me a wow comes from not how the avi looks but how it's represented! You could be a all wack color sona and still find a way to represent yourself, same can go for natural color sonas! Another thing I look at is how much does your face pop in photos/videos.
