My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones of Carl Marcellino, former NYS Senator. Though we served on different sides of the aisle, I respected his commitment to public service, as a teacher and advocate for environmental protection. His legacy will endure.

We mourn the passing of Reverend Jesse Jackson. His voice shaped generations of leaders and inspired countless Americans to believe change is possible. We honor his legacy by continuing the work. May he rest in power, and may his inspiration keep hope alive.

Great to attend Governor Hochul’s State of the State address. In the weeks ahead, I’ll be focused on tackling the affordability crisis and standing up for all New Yorkers.

I was thrilled to meet with Mayor @zohrankmamdani in Albany prior to the governor's State of the State address. With the 2026 legislative session now underway, I look forward to working with Mayor Mamdani to stand up for all New Yorkers and make New York more affordable.

It was a pleasure to attend 1199 SEIU's Healthcare Code Red Rally this afternoon at The Capital Center. Our responsibility as policymakers is to stand with healthcare workers and patients, because healthcare is a human right. We will continue to fight to protect healthcare.
