Tatkal booking opens… You type details at lightning speed… And before payment is done — tickets are SOLD OUT.
An IIT-educated engineer from Tamil Nadu got tired of this problem.
So he built an app called ‘Super Tatkal’.
The app reportedly saved precious seconds by pre-filling passenger details during IRCTC booking.
For many users, it felt like a game changer.
Reports say the app crossed 1 lakh users.
But then the story changed completely.
In 2020, RPF arrested him.
Railways said the software gave users an unfair advantage in Tatkal booking and violated railway rules.
Supporters argued: He didn’t hack IRCTC… He only made the process faster.
One app. One arrest. And one question that divided opinions across India:
Was he fixing a broken system… or breaking the rules?

While all eyes are on election results, I can’t get over the sense of anger and outrage reading this headline. The small child was 3 years old, raped and murdered in Pune by a sick monster - who got an acquittal in an earlier case in 2015- the judiciary’s benefit of doubt, police’s shoddy investigation led to this failure to protect a 3 year old child. What a shame.

The Pune incident involving Bhimrao Kamble has completely exposed the fake atrocity literature that has been peddled all these years.
A perpetrator and a victim can come from any Caste.
However, the Govt policies make GCs seem like the perpetual perpetrators.
The UGC guidelines and Congress’s Vemula Bill do the exact same.
Will the Modi Govt now bring in a GC Protection Act or atleast abolish SC/ST Act?
or will it still prefer appeasing its vote bank?
