Transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) devices that are currently undergoing clinical testing have a high anatomical screen failure rate due to challenges with annulus size or left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. The Saturn valve is a TMVR bioprosthesis that has a central valve mechanically connected to an annular ring. It features a low-profile design with a small footprint in the left ventricle.
