19.54 SWIMMING UPDATE: That was 19 great heats of men's 4x50m medley team event in Pool 1. Now time for women's event to close the Champs

18.56 SWIMMING UPDATE: The penultimate set of swimming heats for the Champs are underway with 19 races in the men's 4x50m medley team event.

18.01 SWIMMING UPDATE: The final heats of the Championships have been swum in Pool 2 as the men's 100m backstroke concludes after 62 races.

17.49 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 1 is at heat 33 of 55 in the women's 100m backstroke. Pool 2 is at heat 57 of 62 in the men's 100m backstroke.

17.24 SWIMMING UPDATE: Back racing in both pools. Pool 1 at heat 21 of women's 100m backstroke. Pool 2 at heat 40 of men's 100m backstroke.

17.07 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 1 is at heat 12 of women's 100m backstroke. Pool 2 set to resume men's 100m backstroke from heat 31 very shortly

15.17 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 1 is back racing with heats 121 to 183 of men's 50m free. Pool 1 just completed 129 heats of women's 50m free

15.03 SYNCHRO UPDATE: Concluding synchronised swimming event of the Championships is underway as team free competition takes centre stage.

14.46 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 2 is back racing with heats 86 to 129 of the women's 50m freestyle set to be completed. Pool 1 to resume shortly

14.36 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 1 has joined Pool 2 in also going into warm up after 120 heats of the men's 50m freestyle.

14.19 SWIMMING UPDATE: Pool 2 has gone into warm up after 85 heats of women's 50m freestyle. Pool 1 up to heat 104 of men's 50m freestyle.

14.08 SWIMMING UPDATE: Flying through the 50m freestyle heats. The men in Pool 1 are up to 87 and the women in Pool 2 are up to 81.
