I have consistently stated and projected that the Jammu Poonch Highway, with its current double lane configuration, is insufficient to accommodate the traffic volume, emphasizing the need for a four-lane highway. Unfortunately, my suggestion was overlooked, given the relatively low traffic volume at the time. However, the present scenario of prolonged traffic jams on this road has validated the necessity for a four-lane highway, even in its incomplete state. Hopefully, the Government of India will take a decision on this matter. @nitin_gadkari @OfficeOfLGJandK

From last 73 years govt is constructing Jammu Srinagar National Highway but still it's completely devasted. Tunnel at Mughal Road can solve all problems but Govt just don't give damn to the people of J&K. @PMOIndia where is vikas ? #JammuAndKashmir
