Clark County is the first county in Arkansas to earn industrial site development-ready certifications from both the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and @EntergyArk, including: • ONSite certification (Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas) • Competitive Communities Initiative (@ArkansasEDC) • Select Site certification (Entergy Arkansas) JD Lowery, director of community and economic development for the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, and Colby Wells, CEO of @SCAECinc, joined state officials including Secretary of Commerce Hugh McDonald and community leaders to celebrate the announcement on Friday. Lowery said, “This is truly a great example of teamwork in Arkansas to support one of the communities we serve. Because this site is split between two electric providers’ boundary lines, it is the first in the state to earn a site certification from both the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and Entergy Arkansas.” McDonald said, “Clark County is on the rise and we’re looking forward to big wins in the future.” @_AEDCE @AR_Commerce 📸 Tyler Hale, Arkansas Economic Development Commission
