Panel discussion: "From Media Literacy to Cognitive Security: Is democracy adaptable enough to face modern threats? Rethinking democratic Resilience in the Information Age" As AI-generated content, algorithmic amplification, and data-driven targeting reshape the information space, the challenge is no longer only misinformation — it is cognitive security. The key question: how can democracies counter FIMI while preserving open information ecosystems and democratic values?

🌱🌍Panel discussion: "Reinforcing Global Biodiversity Governance in the Face of Contemporary Challenges" As the world faces an escalating biodiversity crisis, COP17 must become a turning point for implementation, not just commitments. As incoming host and Presidency of COP17, Armenia is committed to advancing practical action, strengthening multilateral cooperation, and accelerating delivery of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework ahead of 2030."

Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan: "The global biodiversity crisis is no longer a distant or abstract concern — it is a present and accelerating reality. Mainstreaming biodiversity across national strategies and within the private sector is not only desirable, but essential for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals."

Ambassador Mher Margaryan, Special Envoy of the Armenian Presidency of COP17: "In many discussions with our partner countries, one thing consistently emerges: the ambition and commitment are there. What is often missing are the means and mechanisms for implementation. There is also a growing understanding that implementation cannot be driven by governments alone."

Climate change, development, and environmental policy are all deeply linked to it, yet biodiversity is too often overlooked. We can fight climate change and still fail to protect biodiversity if it is not embedded in every decision - from education and taxation to urban planning, infrastructure, and international agreements.”
