Today, Rwanda National Police Spokesperson ACP Rutikanga, speaking to journalists at the conclusion of the fourth day of the Turindane Tugereyo Amahoro campaign in Musanze District, emphasised the initiative’s goal of reinforcing road safety. He noted that Turindane Tugereyo Amahoro builds on the Gerayo Amahoro awareness campaign, underscoring the importance of avoiding behaviors that can lead to accidents and specifically urged drivers to respect speed limits and refrain from unsafe overtaking, stressing the need to adapt driving to the terrain in the Northern Region.

Today, the Ministry of Defence/Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) hosted Defence Attachés and Associates accredited to Rwanda for a comprehensive briefing on the current security situation in the country and the region, as well as on the RDF's engagements in peace support operations under multilateral and bilateral frameworks. The lecture was attended by district staff, executive secretaries of sectors and cells, health center leaders, and other district stakeholders. During the discussion, Colonel Migambi Mungamba reflected on the Rwandan liberation struggle, highlighting it as a foundational source of values and principles for the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF). He urged the leaders to uphold the core values that defined the former Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA), drawing inspiration from the journey of the liberation struggle. He also emphasized the crucial role of youth in promoting and preserving national unity and integrity.
