ARPA-H is redefining what freedom and possibility can look like for people who rely on mobility devices.
This week, ARPA-H performers at the University of Pittsburgh demonstrated the Robotic Assisted Mobility and Manipulation Platform, or RAMMP.
This AI powered system can navigate uneven terrain, open doors, and help people who use wheelchairs move through the world with greater confidence and safety, while reducing reliance on caretakers.
At its core, RAMMP is about giving people greater freedom, dignity, and independence in how they move through the world.
