Some microchip layers need extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography’s ultra-high resolution, while others can be printed faster with deep ultraviolet (DUV). Chipmakers blend both technologies to optimize for speed, resolution and cost so our devices stay powerful and efficient.

On April 15, we reported €8.8 billion in total net sales and €2.8 billion in net income for Q1 2026. For the full year, we now expect total net sales to be between €36 billion and €40 billion, with a gross margin between 51% and 53%.

Our extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography systems print features just 13 nm wide – orders of magnitude smaller than the letters in even the densest books – because that’s the level of detail and complexity needed to make today’s advanced chips a reality.

Last week, we announced our Q4 and full-year 2025 financial results. We reported a Q4 total net sales of €9.7 billion and a net income of €2.8 billion. Our 2025 total net sales came in at €32.7 billion, with a net income of €9.6 billion.
