Future Engineer Fest welcomed more than 130 admitted students and family members to campus this spring, giving them an inside look at life as an engineering student at the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Students explored academic programs, connected with faculty and ambassadors, and experienced Auburn’s student-centered engineering community firsthand. The impact was clear: more than 75% of attendees have already submitted their enrollment deposit for fall 2026, and 76% said the event played a major role in their decision. The Drop is more than just a competition. It is one of many ways Auburn Engineering helps spark curiosity at an early age. 🥚⚙️ Hosted at Jordan-Hare Stadium by the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University, this year’s event brought nearly 75 K–5 students together to think like engineers through hands-on design, testing and creativity. Events like The Drop are a key part of the Future Auburn Engineers Club, a free program for students in grades K–8 that offers monthly at-home activities, Auburn swag, a summer engineering activity book and special events that connect students with real engineering experiences.
