Today, we pause to remember and honour the life and legacy of our former President, Merv Rees OBE DL FRCS, whose leadership and service played a significant role in shaping the history of AUGIS. On the day of his memorial service, we reflect not only on his time within our Association, but also on his major contribution to the advancement of liver surgery and the many patients whose lives were touched by his skill and care.
