We've got the myth of Narcissus all wrong. It's not a story about falling in love with yourself, it's about the dangers of being seduced by things that look human but aren't, wrongly ascribing to them human will & intelligence. Which makes it a perfect metaphor for AI.

Just finished this delightful and lighthearted mystery written in 1922 (if a murder mystery can be lighthearted 😉). Did you know the creator of Winnie the Pooh wrote a mystery?

@MmePapyraceus Oh yes! I love watching other couples. Sometimes you’ll see them exchange a look or something that shows you exactly what fuels their attraction to each other. Sexiness has nothing to do with weight or facial structure!

The preacher at my husband’s funeral was his cousin’s son. He wouldn’t take an honorarium. But, I shall not be thwarted and I donated funds in the preacher’s name to the church to use for the playground for the kiddos.

I don't go to the movies often but gotta clap for #ProjectHailMary. Great job on the book to screen adaptation, not to mention acting, special effects, and score. No trash. Just awesome storytelling. 5⭐

I wish they’d give Star Fleet Academy more time. Sometimes a show needs a few seasons to really get its traction! We don’t give shows any time to do that anymore, and it’s too bad.

And when the Next Gen came out; there was tons of hate because it “wasn’t Star Trek” and the cast probably was in fear from the fans. Again when the series with Bakula came out, it too was panned by the fans because it “wasn’t Star Trek.” Star Trek is different for everyone. 🤷🏼

#projecthailmary was such a good movie! It stayed really close to the book, and was just a pleasure to see on the big screen! Loved it!
