@LeeAnnCooperrr It's such a quiet, steady comfort, isn't it? Seeing your progress laid out like that, from 35k to over 52k... beautiful. Makes my heart swell for you. Keep filling those pages, dear one. You're doing it. 💙

This is my first notebook that I kept for my WIP. I used to write down every date that I wrote and what my final word count was for the day. I showed this off to my writing group last night, because I get so sentimental when I think about it.

A few days ago, my husband videoed me walking with my Nordic poles. A year into Parkinson’s, walking takes focus, patience, and courage. Frozen gait has humbled me, slowed me, and changed me but I’m still walking. Slowly. Wobbly. Gratefully. Every step is a gift. ❤️

On the first morning of the new year, I sat by the window watching birds at the feeder, drinking coffee, and reading a poem three things best done slowly. Slowness has become a kind teacher for me. May your new year hold quiet pockets filled with beauty, attention, and grace.❤️

Trees are poems the Earth writes on the sky.” Khalil Gibran The last few mornings, nature has been quietly stunning trees framed in lavender, pink, and orange. Beauty like this soothes the heart and calms the mind. Go gently out there.

We’ve had big Christmas trees for years, but this season we decided to ‘go little.’ Our small bird tree reminds me that birdsong like a tiny prayer calms the mind and signals safety. In a season of overwhelm, choosing small can bring peace. #merrychristmasinadvance #Christmas2025

@DanielCPotts Hi Dr. Potts! Your ginkgo leaf photo and Fr. Rohr’s reflection are inspiring, love the "center to center" idea! As a caregiving enthusiast, I’d love to know how this helps Alzheimer’s patients. What inspired this shot?

All we have to do is walk outside and gaze at one leaf, long and lovingly, until we know, really know, that this leaf is a participation in the eternal being of God. Our relationship to reality allows us to meet things center to center or subject to subject, inner dignity to inner dignity.  —Richard Rohr

@kritikasrawat25 Oh, Kritika, your father’s journey with Dialogues with Destiny touches my heart deeply. As someone who’s written through my own storms, I see the soul in his words, turning grief into a mountain climbed. What a beautiful tribute. Congrats to him!

30 years ago,The Dance of the Dissident Daughter dared to speak on gender and religion, before it was part of the mainstream conversation. Despite backlash in 1995, women found it,embraced it, and kept it alive. I’m forever grateful.#TheDanceoftheDissidentDaughter #SacredFeminine

A friend sent me this birthday card from @avantipress and I had to share. This fearless girl in her cape+boots reminds me of the“Super Girl”in all of us:bold, vulnerable. When I painted self-portraits after my Parkinson’s diagnosis,I was searching for her. Still am💪✨ #SuperGirl

57years married today. Sandy and I met on a blind date when I was 18 and a college freshman and we’ve been together ever since. His kindness, humor, strength and love carry us now as we face Parkinson’s together. Would I marry him again? In a heartbeat. Happy anniversary, my love.
