I talked to first-year Saguaro head coach Butch Goncharoff yesterday about what the last few weeks have been like. Goncharoff said it's been a whirlwind trying to get things switched around, but he's really proud of the kids who stuck around and how they're competing. “Process over outcomes” is something he stressed is important right now. “Any coach in the country only wants one thing, and that’s effort,” Goncharoff said. “It’s cool to hear people like (Jason) Mohns come up and go, ‘Man, that was impressive.’ It’s a special place, and he built it, I mean, he's a heck of a ball coach. “We’ll bring (Saguaro) back, guarantee it.” @AZHSFB
