This card from Magnetic Cat is one of many pieces of art coming from community artists in Azuki TCG. Every card is hand drawn. This builds on something the Azuki community already does: a real commission art culture where artists have earned over $1M creating original work for the community. And now, the Azuki TCG is channeling that energy onto cards that get played, traded, and collected. What I love about TCG art is that it has utility. The art doesn't just sit in a frame on your desk. It's on the table being played at tournaments. Collectors find new artists through browsing cards in every new set. Mitsuhiro Arita, Ken Sugimori, Christopher Rush, just to name a few... are all names with cult followings because Pokemon and MTG gave their work a platform that reached the world. My goal is for Azuki TCG to do the same for the artists we're working with. Long live hand drawn art. Long live Azuki.
