@saltmeringue @djlufz I know how stereoscopic 3D works. You don't need a headset; you can view SBS formats using the cross-eye method. The problem is this specific video lacks parallax. The left and right frames are identical copies with no offset. There is no depth to calculate. It's flat.

@B0ky4 @djlufz No, it's not. For the 3D affect you have 2 inputs. For your left eye and your right. The left screen's camera is a liiittle more to the left and the right screen's camera is a liiittle more to the right. Your brain puts 2 and 2 together and boom. There is a sense of depth. = 3D
