For those wondering: It's completely safe to keep BakkesMod running if you're going to play online. It will not inject into the EAC version so you will not get banned. If you're experiencing crashes, let us know (it's probably a plugin that's incompatible with the new version).

We're back! BakkesMod has been updated to work on the newest version of Rocket League (non-EAC mode only). Psyonix has reached out and offered their support, and together we've found a way for the BM team to sustainably continue providing updates in the future.

The mod is updated to work with the newest version of RL (v2.06)! We've added a popup when you launch the game for the first time after the update which lets you choose which freeplay binds you wish to use. You can change this setting at any time.

I've been hired by @PsyonixStudios as a gameplay programmer! From the moment I started modding, this was always the goal. I'm thrilled to be able to contribute to @RocketLeague directly now!

We've released the Epic Games version of BakkesMod! Download it from bakkesmod.com, but please read before trying 🙂

@Renital_427 It's not required. This is mostly just done because people aren't used to standalone executables and many people lost track of where they put it causing all kinds of confusion 😆Using the new installer wouldn't hurt though, but older versions should remain usable (for now).

@BakkesMod If we have the old version and it’s working fine, can we still use it? I’m assuming for future RL updates that we’d have to switch to this, though, but maybe I’m wrong

Since people are still having issues, we've now packaged BM in an installer. This will automatically close older versions, allow you to select the install location & create a desktop shortcut. If you are still having issues, download the new version on bakkesmod.com

If you ran into injection issues all of a sudden, make sure to download the newest version of the injector from the website and delete the old one! Be aware that if you previously had to whitelist the bakkesmod exe, you might need to do it again. bakkesmod.com/download.php
