One of the biggest misconceptions about Israel is the Western tendency to assume everyone’s actions must come from some rational grievance. Lex himself is incredibly naive about this. @DouglasKMurray explains why that thinking completely collapses when applied to Hamas.

Bar Kuperstein , 21, hostage , kept in the tunnels of Gaza for more than 500 days will have 2 happy surprises when he returns from captivity. One, that his father, Tal, has learned to speak from scratch, and the other - that he has learned to walk again, just so that he can get up and hug him when he returns from Gaza. It has been Bar's dream since he was 17, that his father will be able to get out of bed. Hopefully Bar is back home very soon with all the 58 hostages 🎗️ r/t @roniaviram

It is no coincidence that many of the most active Jews fighting the rising tide of Antizionism are of Soviet, Mizrahi or Iranian background: they are only one or two generations removed from knowing exactly how the "we're just antizionist, not against Jews" playbook plays out.

This is going to be a long post – but a line has been crossed, and things need to be said. Yesterday – five minutes away from my house – a masked protestor was seen wearing a Hamas bandana. It’s bad enough to vocalize your support for terrorism – with chants of “Jews, go back to Europe,” and “intifada revolution, there is only one solution,” – but dressing up like those who have raped, killed, and kidnapped us is a new low – one that I’m not willing to accept. To make matters worse, it wasn’t just the Hamas outfit – it was the fact that no other protestor was seen confronting him for his actions. Not one person stepped up and said, “Hey – not here – not on our watch.” In fact, many were seen protecting him – even cheering him on as he set off smoke grenades downtown. In addition, the Ottawa police force was there protecting him and other protestors – as if they were the ones who needed protecting. It's also the selective outrage – and the fact that so few across the country seem to care about this. If this were a guy waving a Nazi flag dressed up like Heinrich Himmler it would be on the national news, the Prime Minister would be asked about it, there would be counter-protests, and calls for his arrest. In fact, he probably would be arrested and charged for breaking one of the many laws in Canada’s Criminal Code – laws which don’t seem to apply to certain groups of people of certain ethnicities and religions. Make no mistake – this sort of selective outrage and selective application of our country’s laws will embolden these people – leading not just to more terrorism – but to more insidious actions over time designed to change the very fabric of our nation. Yet, I find myself watching these videos, asking, “Does no one care?” Several years ago, when I worked for Public Safety Canada – our equivalent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security – I asked to meet with the former Associate Deputy Minister regarding my concerns about surging antisemitism. She looked at me square in the face and said “I’m surprised by this – I didn’t think that was a thing anymore.” This was a woman who helped set up the Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre (ITAC) housed at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service. On another occasion, when I spoke with a manager at Global Affairs Canada – our equivalent to the U.S. State Department – about someone on his team who was posting antisemitic content online – he told me I was the problem. He went on to be promoted – serving as Canada’s Ambassador to Algeria. Am I crazy to expect more from our government officials? And what about our academic community? Our country’s leading “expert” on the Middle East has said nothing about any of this – his wife – a career bureaucrat working at ITAC, of course. Several others, who left our intelligence community to become “terrorism experts,” appear oblivious to our surging extremism crisis – only interested in discussing terrorist threats so long as they’re “far right.” Of course, this is because they’ve learned over time that the most important thing for their scholarly careers is to play it safe – to not offend – and to not go against the herd. If there’s one thing these people fear – it’s being labelled something like “Islamophobic,” “intolerant,” or “racist.” They’d rather the country burn than say anything truthful in their classrooms – spaces which look more like indoctrination centres than they do rooms of higher learning. How about our politicians – where are they? This video was filmed directly in front of the main courthouse in Ottawa – steps from our Parliament. In 2020, the Prime Minister took a knee at the George Floyd protests – protests which were completely warranted given egregious police brutality. Yet, Jewish people – decent people – have been subjected to this madness for over 500 days – and where has he been? Where’s his successor? Would calling out support for terrorism offend certain constituents? If so – that’s a bigger issue that needs to be addressed – isn’t it? I lived through the Trucker Convoy a few years ago. It was a terrible nuisance, and there were certainly shameful things that took place during that time – but to invoke the Emergencies Act and then remain silent while protestors across our country pledge allegiance to ACTUAL terrorist organizations is unforgivable. All told – this can’t go on any longer. If you think it’s just been a few bad apples, you need to give your bloody head a shake. This country has an extremism crisis on its hands – and entire communities have been given a pass – and for what? I don’t know about you – but I’m not about to have my children walk past grown men dressed as Hamas members – enough is enough. This ends now.

Dear @TeamKerzner during the election you personally told me that you & @fordnation would protect Ontario’s Jewish communities from this kind of hate. My community demands that you & the Premier do your jobs & enforce the law. This was in Ottawa, under the your leadership.
Shoshana@shmeze

Hey @MarkJCarney this vile Pro-Terrorism is happening under your watch. As Prime Minister it’s your job to put an end to this. @marcomendicino @melaniejoly @AHousefather @RachelBendayan @YaaraSaks this is your party’s leader being deafeningly silent about Terrorism in Canada

Hey @CBCNews @CTVNews @CP24 @globeandmail @TorontoStar any comment on Hamas murdering Gazan’s who are protesting against Hamas, begging them to surrender & stop the war? Where are the mass protests when Hamas tortures/kills Arabs in Gaza? Why so quiet? No Jews, No News?
Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib@afalkhatib

Hamas began executing Gazans who were part of organizing protests against its rule in which tens of thousands across the Strip demanded an end to the terrorist organization's fascist control of the Strip. One victim today is Odai Alrabee, tortured to death💔Other documented cases

🇨🇦 April 28, 2025 - The Most Critical Election in Canadian History. 🇨🇦 Will Canada survive as a democracy or fall into a socialist totalitarian regime? The Liberal-NDP government has destroyed Canada over the last 10 years: ❌ Rising cost of living - Canadians are struggling every day. ❌ Housing crisis - Costs doubled since 2024. ❌ Destroyed economy - GDP growth decreased by 67%. ❌ Escalating crime & drug crisis - Drug deaths quadrupled over 10 years. ❌ Out-of-control immigration - Terrorists & criminals flooding in. ❌ Canada, a hub of Jihadis & Radicalism. ❌ Foreign interference - From Iran, Qatar, China. ❌ Canadian identity compromised. ❌ Christians are under attack, Hinduphobia is on the rise, and Antisemitism is at an all-time high in schools, streets, and universities. 📢 Choose and Vote for a candidate who will: ✅ Eliminate crime & drugs 🚔 ✅ Control immigration effectively 🛂 ✅ Revive Canadian identity & values 🇨🇦 ✅ Protect free speech and END anti-Christian hate, Hinduphobia, and Jew-Hatred ❌🌐 💪 Be a Proud Canadian. Put Canada FIRST. ✅ This election decides Canada’s fate. SAVE Canada! 💪 Choose the RIGHT candidate 📢 BE SMART. BE A PROUD CANADIAN. VOTE TO PUT CANADA FIRST. #CanadaElections2025 #CanadaFirst #SaveCanada #ProtectCanada #EndJewHatred #StopHinduphobia #VoteWisely

Today, a Jew feels safer in Dubai than in New York, and that speaks volumes. The UAE has zero tolerance for antisemitism, racism, or any hate crimes. Justice knows no borders. When Rabbi Zvi Kogan was killed, the UAE swiftly arrested the perpetrators and brought them to justice. Soon, our respected Jewish community will witness righteous, firm, and strong justice in action. While the West ignores thousands of antisemitic cases and even elevates antisemites to fame or positions such as Member of Parliament or Congress, the UAE stands firm for lasting peace, strong justice, and equality for all.

@AlexpiersonAMP I don’t understand the polling. They keep claiming @MarkJCarney has a huge lead over @PierrePoilievre but when I look through my midtown Toronto area there are very few red lawn signs, yet countless blue. I genuinely believe there is some absurd MSM attempt against the @CPC_HQ

I went to the UK for #Ramadan   , and what I saw wasn’t Britain. It was Bin Laden’s dream come true. Muslim youth, especially students, were radicalised to the core. Some parroted Muslim Brotherhood slogans, others looked like they were just waiting for jihadist marching orders. British money, collected in the name of charity, was flowing straight into the blood-soaked fields of Yemen, Syria, and Gaza to fund terror and murder civilians, not to feed the hungry. What I saw wasn’t the UK. It was Londonistan and Birminghamstan, where universities preach victimhood instead of values, and lectures sound more like sermons from the caliphate than lessons in a democracy. Then I looked at the so-called "activists," and it all made sense. These aren’t champions of justice. They are frauds in protest gear. A self-proclaimed feminist screams for Gaza while Hamas rapes and kidnaps Israeli women, but she falls silent when women are hanged in Iran. They chant against Israel but say nothing about Erdoğan’s police smashing dissent in Turkey. They cry for Gaza but turn their backs on Syria’s genocide of Christians, Alawites, Druze, and Kurds. And when the Houthis launch rockets at civilians in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or Israel, not a peep. These are not activists. They are either puppets of Islamist propaganda or clueless fools too blind to see they are marching for tyranny, not justice.
