Ms. McCray’s 3rd grade class at Lynn Wood had a lot of fun learning about AI this week, thanks to our district’s Success Team! Students in grades 3–5 are exploring how artificial intelligence recognizes patterns and makes predictions!

Thanks to 20 Oak Crest Elementary students, the City of BA Forestry Division & the City Council, 6 new trees are now thriving at Arrowhead Park! Mayor Debra Wimpee declared the week of March 23 as Arbor Week, celebrating our community’s dedication to a greener, healthier future.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! 🎨Our annual districtwide art show is returning to NSU–BA, showcasing visual art from every school site, Pre-K through 12th grade. The two-week show runs April 6–18 & highlights the creativity & talent of our student artists across the district.

Oklahoma native Travis Brorsen, winner of CBS’ Greatest American Dog and a nationally known dog trainer, stopped by the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center with his furry friend to teach our first graders about trust, respect, friendship and manners. So much excitement!

March is bringing a different kind of madness to the Sequoyah Eighth Grade Academy! Students participated in March Mammal Madness, a single-elimination competition where species face off in head-to-head matchups based on scientific traits, habitat advantages & seasonal factors.

Career exploration starts early in BA! Today we hosted our "Pathways to Possibilities" Career Fair for every 7th grader! Nearly 1,500 students explored a wide range of industries and connected their interests to future opportunities. A huge thank you to the vendors!

Thank you to the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra for inspiring our 4th graders and introducing them to the beauty of orchestral music. Experiences like this help spark curiosity, creativity and a lifelong appreciation for the arts in our students. What a fun field trip to the BAPAC!
